Job Description:

  • Holds the vision for the product, represents the interests of the business, Represents the customer and Owns the Product Backlog
  • Meet and work directly with clients and consultants to gather requirements; and act as liaison between them and Development.
  • Manages multiple lines of business within a single client relationship and manages multiple clients through the ability to understand Client business objectives
  • Experience to develop and cultivate relationships with Clients at the most senior levels. Doing everything possible to ensure delighting customers.
  • Act as an ambassador for the projects internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the project
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Write user stories for the backlog, documenting the product requirements, workflows and acceptance criteria, enabling key deliverables to be met
  • Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our partners
  • Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master and Team to run successful Release Planning and Sprint Planning sessions, as well as Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
  • Experience leading teams with multiple discipline representation (especially engineering, creative, project management, quality analyst and strategy)
  • Accepting or rejecting the delivery team’s work results; ensuring any issues that arise are addressed as quickly as possible, Conducting Client demos and Driving UAT with client.
  • Work with Project Manager and Manage Budget. Raise Flag at the right time and work with client to priorities based on remaining budget
  • Experience in Execution stage, to drive the operations through a strong Risk Management approach to ensure that the agreed model at Proposal stage is respected throughout projects’ lifecycle.
  • Continuously work on Process improvement and implement tools & methodologies to increase productivity
  • Work with the community manager to encourage and increase community participation of the team
  • Passion to Lead by example and generate energy to motivate teams — consistently demonstrate integrity, transparency and accountability in all actions and promote these values in others.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Scrum Product Owner, working with Agile Delivery Teams, utilizing Agile / Scrum / Kanban.
  • Has worked with multiple software development lifecycle methodologies, including Scrum.  Worked as a business analyst and/or product manager, and had some exposure to project management. 
  • At least 5 years of IT experience, including 3 years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
  • Interpersonal skills and Effective communication to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, product management, and delivery team)
  • Facilitation skills, to elicit business, user needs and all technology delivery needs
  • Writing skills, to communicate information effectively to stakeholders, managers, and delivery teams
  • Outstanding leadership and motivational skills – possessing a willingness to empower as well as inspire commitment and positive attitude in the team
  • Agile Product Owner certification, CSPO or CSM or PMP (Any of these is a plus)

Required education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
