We already work down the road from you
Retail, grocery, marketplaces, pharmacy, dairy and industrial manufacturing — across the Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Iksula builds and runs the commerce platforms, product data operations and analytics behind a large part of the region’s digital trade.
Four things that are specific to this region

Content has to work in two languages and two directions

Compliance is regional and per-market

The calendar peaks hard, twice

Sellers and merchants need a human
The kind of work we do here
We publish regional item data for three of the largest retail and marketplace businesses in the Gulf. We have run the commerce platform for a pharmacy retail chain in the United Arab Emirates as a continuous managed service for three years. We built and support the commerce platform and the consumer app for a global appliance brand across the Emirates and five other markets in the region. We built the business-to-business commerce platform, the core system integration and the mobile app for a Saudi dairy and food producer.
We built and support the commerce platform for a consumer electronics retailer in Kuwait. We built the commerce platform for a bottled water business in the Emirates on a headless architecture. We built and support commerce platforms for a French childrenswear brand and for two Emirati retail groups. We built real-time lead-to-quote-to-invoice insight for a Saudi cable manufacturer, answered through plain-language questions rather than dashboards.
We unified real-time plant and sustainability data for a Saudi agri-industrial producer operating across more than ten plants. We unified sales, people, finance and ecommerce reporting for an electronics retailer in the Emirates with a large store network. We run marketplace feed operations for a major Gulf retail group.
The platforms the region actually runs
Adobe Commerce and SAP Commerce Cloud are the two platforms we see most often at enterprise scale in the Gulf, and we are partner-level on both. Shopify Plus carries the faster-moving brands. We also build on headless architectures where a client wants to be free of a platform roadmap. For product information we operate Pimcore, Akeneo and Salsify.

Onsite where it matters, offshore where it pays

Client-facing presence in the region
The architecture and account leads a Gulf client deals with are reachable in their own working week, not twelve hours behind it.

Delivery depth from India
The build and run capability sits on the India bench. That is a few hours’ difference rather than a different working day, so a question asked in the morning gets answered the same morning.

Capacity that flexes for the season
Scale up for Ramadan and the year-end peak, scale back afterwards. No long-term headcount commitment to cover a two-month burst.
Where to go next
Four ways to work with us
Pick the shape that fits the problem, not the other way round.

Projects
A defined scope, a fixed outcome and a date. Best when the problem is understood and the answer is a build.

Dedicated teams
A standing team that works as an extension of yours. Best when the work is continuous and the domain takes time to learn.

Staff augmentation
Named specialists who join your team and report into your managers. A service delivery manager and an agreed service level sit behind them, so a staffing engagement can mature into owned outcomes.

Commerce Capability Centre
Your own commerce, data and AI capability, established and then transferred to you. We run the work while we build the team that will take it over.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have people in the region?
Yes, client-facing. Architecture and account leads work in the regional week. The build and run capability sits on our India bench, a short time difference away. That is how a managed service answers a question the same morning it is asked.
Can you build Arabic-first, not Arabic-retrofitted?
Yes, and the difference matters. Right-to-left layout, bilingual catalogs and Arabic content operations designed in from the start behave differently from the same features bolted onto a platform that assumed one language. Retrofitting is where most regional commerce projects lose their budget.
How do you handle Ramadan capacity?
By flexing rather than hiring. The peak needs more content, more engineering and more support for a defined window. We scale capacity up for it and back down afterwards, so you are not carrying the peak’s headcount for the other ten months.
We are a marketplace. Can you get merchants live at scale?
That is one of the things we do most of in this region. Account setup, compliance verification and catalog upload, with an assisted route — phone, in person, image-based document capture, local language — for merchants who will not complete a self-service flow. Designing for assisted onboarding rather than against it is what moves the numbers.
Which markets have you actually worked in?
The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait most heavily, with brand work spanning several other markets in the region. Retail, grocery, marketplaces, pharmacy, dairy and food, consumer electronics and industrial manufacturing.
