One product. Hundreds of versions of the truth.

A single line becomes a different record in every market, every language, every retailer format and every regulatory regime it touches. Iksula builds the governed product data behind it, and runs the operation that keeps it correct as it multiplies.

Why getting consumer goods to market is harder than it looks

A single SKU in the food and beverage industry isn’t one piece of content. It’s hundreds — multiplied across markets, channels, languages, certifications, and retailer requirements.

One product becomes dozens of records

Regional variants. Nutritional panels per market. Ingredient declarations in several languages. Allergen formats that differ by region. Certification data that differs again. Most brands manage this in spreadsheets, and every new market doubles the manual effort.

Every retailer wants it differently

Each grocer, marketplace and delivery platform has its own format, its own taxonomy and its own data pool requirements. Your product information platform has to feed all of them at once, accurately, from one master record.

The cost of getting it wrong is not cosmetic

Products delisted for incomplete data. Regulatory exposure on allergen or nutritional labelling. Launches delayed because content is not ready. And invisibility to AI assistants, which can only recommend what they can read.

How we turn product content into commerce

Most F&B brands have great products. The gap is getting the right content, to the right channel, in the right format — fast enough to win shelf space and search rankings before competitors do.

01
Structure the product data

Formulations, ingredient lists, allergen declarations, nutritional panels and certification data — extracted from unstructured sources and structured into a governed product information platform.

02
Create the content per market

Localised copy, packaging variants and regulation-compliant labelling, generated and validated per market from the governed master record rather than rebuilt by hand each time.

03
Syndicate to the digital shelf

Compliant product feeds pushed to grocers, marketplaces and regional delivery platforms automatically, from one source of truth, without manual reformatting per destination.

04
Launch and run direct channels

Consumer storefronts, subscription models and marketplace presence — built on the same governed product content that feeds the trade channel, so the two never contradict each other.

05
Answer the commercial questions

Plain-language access to demand signals, stock positions and campaign performance for commercial and supply chain teams, without waiting for an analyst.

This is the F&B flywheel: better structured product data → faster digital shelf → better D2C conversion → more sales intelligence → smarter next campaign. Iksula delivers all five steps.

AI Tools That Solve F&B's Most Expensive Problems

Not generic AI. Not a bolt-on layer. These are AI capabilities embedded directly into how Iksula delivers for food & beverage clients — tested on FMCG-scale product catalogs.

PC2 Product Content Creator

Iksula’s proprietary AI accelerator structures and enriches product data at FMCG scale — nutritional panels, allergen declarations, Halal certifications, GS1 attributes — for the major grocers, the marketplaces and the delivery platforms.

Athena — Data Quality Engine

Continuously monitors and auto-corrects product data quality across your PIM and digital shelf — catching incomplete allergen data, missing GTIN attributions, and non-compliant nutritional formats before they reach the retailer.

CDI — Conversational Data Insights

Commercial, marketing, and supply chain teams ask questions in plain language — which SKUs are below the minimum digital shelf score? What’s the demand forecast for Ramadan season? How are our product listings performing with each retailer? Instant answers.

Quick service & restaurant chains

Menu and product data structured for digital ordering and delivery aggregators, with the engineering pace that weekly menu and promotion cycles demand.

The kind of work we do

We built the digital asset management platform for two of India’s largest consumer goods companies. We run digital shelf audit and competitive benchmarking for a global snacking brand’s India business, tracked across the country’s two largest online channels. We built and operate a private enterprise assistant for an Indian consumer goods company — company-wide, inside their own perimeter, with no business data leaving it. We built the business-to-business commerce platform, the core system integration and the mobile app for a Saudi dairy and food producer. We built the commerce platform for a bottled water business in the United Arab Emirates on a headless architecture. We unified real-time plant and sustainability data for a Saudi agri-industrial producer operating across more than ten plants. We built a purchase application for farmers on behalf of an Indian agri-inputs manufacturer, linked to its physical store network.

Projects

A defined scope, a fixed outcome and a date. Best when the problem is understood and the answer is a build.

Dedicated teams

A standing team that works as an extension of yours. Best when the work is continuous and the domain takes time to learn.

staff augmentation 1

Staff augmentation

Named specialists who join your team and report into your managers. A service delivery manager and an agreed service level sit behind them, so a staffing engagement can mature into owned outcomes.

Your own commerce, data and AI capability, established and then transferred to you. We run the work while we build the team that will take it over.

Frequently asked questions

Because answer engines can only recommend products whose data is machine-readable and well attributed. Most brand product content is unstructured, incomplete or inconsistent across channels, so the engine has nothing solid to cite. We audit where the gaps are, then close them. The audit is the cheap part and it tells you whether the rest is worth doing.

With a governed product information platform as the single source of truth, carrying market-specific validation rules for each region’s labelling requirements. We implement the platform and automate the per-market content generation and validation. Then we syndicate the output to the data pools and retailer formats that need it. That is what removes the per-market manual rework.

By flexing capacity rather than hiring for the peak. Seasonal launches create a burst of new variants, localised promotional copy, updated listings and campaign content, all needing to be live weeks before the season starts. We scale delivery capacity up for the peak and back down afterwards, without a long-term headcount commitment.

Aim the direct channel at what the trade channel is not serving — subscription, gifting, limited editions, new segments. Build it on the same governed product content that feeds your retailer listings, so the two are consistent rather than competing on facts. The conflict is usually about content and price discipline, not about the channel existing.

Once the governed data layer exists, adding a retailer is a mapping exercise. Without it, every retailer needs manual data mapping, format conversion and compliance validation from scratch. That difference is the whole argument for the platform, and it compounds with every retailer you add.

It can, once the data underneath is trustworthy. Put historical sales, demand signals and supply chain data into one governed layer. Query it in plain language. Commercial and supply chain teams then see shelf-life velocity and seasonal patterns without waiting for a report. The layer comes first — a forecast on ungoverned data is a confident wrong answer.
